DataQuoll is a data platform. It aggregates Australian public data that agencies publish fragmented, in formats never designed for software, normalises it into one schema, and turns it into a single view of a location: what has happened there, what is happening now, and the conditions around it. Each dataset below says what it is, what it covers, how fresh it is and where it comes from. 34 official and community sources are polled today.

Coverage: The official state and territory emergency services feeds plus national sources (earthquakes, satellite hotspots). Which agencies are carried, and how fresh each one is, is published per jurisdiction on the States reference page.
Which local government areas sit inside a formally declared disaster area.
Coverage: Declarations published by the Commonwealth and by the states that gazette them; each declaration records its source instrument and the LGAs it names.
Water levels from state monitoring networks with BoM flood classes and verified datums.
Coverage: Gauges on the state water portals we poll plus the BoM flood-warning network; every gauge record states its source, its staleness horizon and whether a published flood class exists.
What official sources recorded near a point, unioned with the declarations covering its local government area.
Coverage: The locatable part of the historical archive plus the live-era incident history and the declarations layer. Of the archive, 4.0 million of 4.8 million records carry a usable location, and 938,588 of those sit at a postcode centroid rather than at an address; both facts are reported in every response so a reader can see what a match meant.

Coverage: Continuous coverage from the 1930s with sparse earlier records; depth of lookback is gated by plan. Coverage before the platform began polling depends on what the absorbed historical sources recorded.
